About Me
I'm a Tech Lead and Data Engineer based in Hamburg, Germany. With my experience in building data platforms, cloud infrastructure, and scalable systems, I focus on delivering sustainable and collaborative technical solutions.
Currently at DB Systel GmbH, I work hands-on with the team to shape technical direction while prioritizing shared ownership in the context of DevOps. Previously, I've built data pipelines and infrastructure for ML and BI applications at Otto Group and helped businesses integrated data into their data stores at saracus consulting.
Beyond my corporate work, I'm passionate about building innovative products. I founded sagmal, a smart educational documentation tool for childcare facilities that uses voice recording, automatic transcription, and AI-powered analysis to simplify observation documentation. I also run Paperless-Hosting.de, offering Paperless-ngx as a Service.
My entrepreneurial ventures combine my technical expertise in Go, Rust, and Python with distributed architecture design, all managed with modern Infrastructure as Code tools like OpenTofu and Ansible.
